Improvements on the Mini-Lamp Focus Kits between 2011 & 2012 |

(Image 2.) shows the 2012 model Mini-Lamp Focus Premium Kit. The first important improvement is the change of LED used the 2012 model which now uses a CREE 7090 XR-E (EZ900) (Image 4.). The best LED available for throwing a beam of light as tightly and as far as possible. The 2011 model used a CREE XP-G LED (Image 3.), which although was potentially more powerful, due to it's characteristics could not be focused as tightly. The result is that the 2012 model will appear slightly brighter than the 2011 model, has a tighter beam of light and the beam will reach up to 200 metres compared to the 2011 model which would reach up to 150 metres. The parabolic mirror (Lens), which helps gather all the emited light from the LED has also been adapted for the best possible results. The battery charger has been upgraded to the safest and most versatile charger available in this market. It will safely charge not only batteries of different charge levels, but completely different sized batteries at the same time. It offers a useful USB out, which means using the power from an inserted battery, can charge an external device, such as a mobile phone, without any need for either mains or 12V connection. It is also the safest charger of its type. The 2012 kit also offers especially commissioned 18650 sized rechargeable protected batteries, which contain the industries highest quality Cells and Protection Circuit Modules. (PCM). These are the industries safest batteries and also offer increased PCM protection against a rifles recoil action. CBT Cells batteries not only run for longer today, but will carry on doing so after regular use in the future. |
